A Near-Perfect Day

Over 12 inches of freshly fallen snow; a warm glow from the tree lights; scones baking in the oven; the boys watching A Charlie Brown Christmas and hubby working from home. Love it!
There is just something so cozy about being snug inside and watching the snow.
I am so excited - it is supposed to snow again tonight and tomorrow! I haven't had a white Christmas in years!!
If you came in January or Feb, that would be great. It will be here before we know it, too. And maybe we could squeeze in a little winter hike to Red Butte??
Oh wow! That's a lot of snow! We got just a thin layer of it on Christmas Day (which is really rare for Portland) and our neighbors across the street started trying to build a snowman. So funny!

And with the snow it definitely looks like Christmas. I wish we were visiting, but maybe in January or February.
