Watching the Olympics with Gabe yesterday. Granted, I had recorded it a few nights earlier, but it was still AWESOME. We watched the women's gymnastics all-around finals and some qualifying men's swimming. Gabe was impressed and I loved sharing that with him. Just watching his face as they did some of their more impressive tricks. He ate it up and later in the evening, when we were at Liberty Park, he did a cartwheel across almost the whole balance beam! Very cool.

man, i fell in love with gymnastics during the '84 olympics. that christmas my dad and grandfather built me a balance beam. i was *so* inspired.
btw, simple sundays is still around... just hasn't seen much action over the summer. i'm sure it'll pick up again sooner or later. thanks for keeping it going!!
